Open Peppered Steak Sandwich

This open sandwich tastes as good as it looks, and the addition of lime juice makes the flavours really pop.

Ingredients

  • 1 x 300g Co-op rump steak, at room temperature
  • 1 tsp coarsely ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Co-op olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 medium Co-op ciabatta, cut in half lengthways
  • 1 little gem lettuce, shredded
  • 3 tbsp Co-op salsa
  • Serve with jalapeño chilli slices, chopped fresh coriander and lime wedges (optional)
